Plot: Edge of Tomorrow is an action science fiction movie that is based on the Japanese light novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka entitled "All You Need Is Kill." Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt lead the film as the primary protagonist with co-stars Bill Paxton as General Farrell Bartolome, Brendan Gleeson, Kick Gurry, Dragomir Mrsic, Charlotte Riley, Jonas Armstrong, Franz Drameh, Masayoshi Haneda, and Tony Way. Here's a brief plot summary of Edge of Tomorrow.

In the near future, an alien race has invaded the Earth and has defeated the world's military units. Major William Cage (Tom Cruise), a military officer inexperienced in combat, is deployed into a combat mission against the aliens. Though Cage is killed in minutes, he finds himself starting over in a time loop, repeating the same combat mission and being killed. Each time, Cage learns to better fight the aliens, and he teams up with Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt) to defeat them.
The movie's release date in United Kingdom is May 30th and June 6th in the United States and Canada. Edge of Tomorrow was directed by Doug Liman, director of the films: Fair Game, Jumper, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and The Bourne Identity.
