Predators is an upcoming 2010 science fiction, action and horror film directed by Nimród Antal. The movie is a sequel to the 1987 classic action film Predator and scheduled to be released on July 9, 2010.

The new film revolves around Royce (Adrien Brody), a mercenary soldier who is abducted and released in the wild jungles of the Predator’s home planet to be hunted for sport. Royce discovers he’s not the only one; there are seven abductees including one woman from Earth, who are from different countries and are armed with all sorts of weapons. They are Isabelle (Alice Braga)- a French sniper; Cuchillo (Danny Trejo) – an Uzi0 armed Mexican enforcer; Nikolai (Oleg Taktarov) -a Russian gangster with a machine gun; Stans (Walton Gog gins)- a mass-murdering death-row San Quentin state prison inmate; Mombasa (Mahershalalhashbaz Ali) – an African death squad member; Hanzo (Louis Ozawa Changchien) – a Japanese Yakuza gangster with a sword and Edwin (Topher Grace)- a disgraced physician and a serial killer formerly on the FBI’s most wanted list.

At first, these elite warriors don’t fully understand why they were kidnapped, but then quickly realize that they are being hunted by the Black Super Predator (Brian Steele). While battling to survive against these creatures, they come across a man known as Noland (Laurence Fishburne), a stranded U.S. Navy SEAL soldier who has been able to stay hidden from the Predators. They learn that this kidnapping/hunting has been going on for years. It’s at about this time that the Predators become more cruel and violent in order to kill all the humans.
