Review: Black Mirror vs. Dimension 404

I’m really looking forward to watch the new series from Hulu, DIMENSION 404 because I was expecting that its close to the anthology series that I like, the Black Mirror. That’s what other articles describe the said series, a Black Mirror like series to watch. However, after watching the first 3 episodes of the show, I can’t seem to agree to what other online articles were saying about it that is like one of my favorite British series.

Despite Dimension 404 feature some great line up of familiar actors and actresses, it seems that it can’t get near to the series it is compared. The story is quite light-hearted and introduced like its not a serious stuff to watch. See the trailer of the series below and you’ll see why I am telling you like that.

Now lets go down to the question if the show is worth to watch or not. The answer depends on what you want to watch. If you want to see a Black Mirror style of series then you’ll be very disappointed but if you don’t use any comparison, I guess you’ll enjoy every single episode of the series. I believe its a decent series to watch of course much lesser darker than our beloved Black Mirror.
