Indiana Libertarians Chooses former “Survivor” Star to Run as Governor

Rupert Boneham is a former castaway from the reality television series “Survivor”. Now, after surviving months of staying in a deserted island during his time of the “Survivor” in the year 2004, he is about to face another challenge in his life, and that is to run for Indiana Governor.

The Libertarian Party members are already set to pick the former “Survivor: All-Stars” castaway as their candidate for Indiana Governor. The officials say that the fan favorite star from 2004’s “Survivor: All-Stars” is unopposed for the party’s nomination and that he’ll be formally nominated at its state convention in Indianapolis on Saturday.

His over $1 million earnings when he won in Survivor before huge enough for him, so, because of having a big heart, Boneham donated some of the money to his Rupert’s Kids Charity, which provides mentoring and job-training to at-risk youths.

During the elections, Boneham will face the Republican Mike Pence and Democrat John Gregg in the governor’s race. In the meantime, the former Libertarian gubernatorial nominee Andy Horning is unopposed for the party’s U.S. Senate nomination. The Libertarian convention will also feature a debate among four candidates for its presidential nomination, including former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson. I believe Boneham is already privileged in all of these since he is a true-blooded survivor. No matter what happens, being a survivor still runs in his blood.
