Big Brother US is one of the most watched reality TV Series in the United States and in the most recent news about the show, it was said that “Big Brother” has found a way to finally distinguish itself from that pesky look-alike show “The Glass House”.
The Glass House is being compared to The Big Brother. It is a new American reality game show that premiered on ABC on June 18, 2012 where fourteen contestants live in the house and compete for $250,000 cash prize. The concept is quite similar with Big Brother where voting by viewers will help decide which contestants get sent home.
Despite the fact that CBS is currently embroiled in a legal entanglement with ABC over the similarities between its own “Big Brother” and that the network’s “The Glass House”, they were never stopped to promote their show and fight for their uniqueness. On Thursday, CBS announced a format shake-up for its upcoming fourteenth season of the Big Brother. The television network also revealed to the viewers the identities of the new competitors for the season which premiered on July 12, 2012.
So what’s new in the reality television series? What are we going to expect in here? It was said that for the first time, Big Brother will bring four of the most successful players from the previous seasons back on the show against each other in a separate competition for their own prize. It is during the show’s season premiere where the four contestants will be introduced so you definitely need to watch out for it.
