An Interview With Whitney Houston’s Daughter: How Is She Now?

A month ago, the whole world and the entire music industry was stunned upon hearing the news the famous Whitney was found dead in a hotel the eve before the Grammy Awards night. The who world mourned, and if her fans are miserable during that time, how much more do you think is her family? How are they doing now?

During her first interview after Whitney died last month, Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston, said that she is doing as good as she possibly can. She tried to recall the tender last moments she has spent with her superstar mother a few days before her sudden death and these moments even made her miss the superstar even more.

“She’s always with me,” said the 19-year old only daughter and only child of Whitney. “Her spirit is strong, it’s a strong spirit. I feel her pass through me all the time.”

Oprah Winfrey made the interview with Brown last Sunday during her OWN television talk show in her Winfrey Network. The show was some sort of a tribute to Whitney as it also featured Pat Houston, the singer’s manager and sister-in-law, and Gary Houston, the brother of Whitney Houston. It was a tough moment for the Houston family, but Brown said that because of her family who is always being there for her and because of God as well, she was able to cope early since her mother died last February 11, 2012.

“It comes in waves. One moment I can be happy and laughing, but then it comes over me. It’s my mom,” she said. “I slept in her arms all day, all night long,” she added saying what she asked her mother to do a night before she died.
