American Idol Season 11 is now down to 12 finalists when they said goodbye to Jeremy Rosado, the latest eliminated finalist in the hit reality talent search. Last Thursday’s edition of the Fox singing featured the last performance of the 19-year old receptionist from Valrico, Fla. The competition isn’t over yet even if Jeremy was already gone because a dozen of great contestants are still left running for the title.
Elise Testone was the one in the bottom along with Rosado but the judges spared her in favor of Jeremy. When the entire America was asked if they got it right in putting the two in the bottom, Judge Randy Jackson just replied, “I don’t know if they got it exactly right, but probably, I’m thinking.”
The four other contestants who also garnered the lowest viewer scores but was lucky to be safe and still battling for the American Idol title are: the 25-year old gentle giant Jermaine Jones, the booming 19-year old student Joshua Ledet, the 16-year old vocalists Shannon Magrane and the 26-year old disc jockey Erika Van Pelt.
During the show last Wednesday, all the male finalists had performed Stevie Wonder Songs while all the female finalists paid tribute to the late Whitney Houston who just died last month.
