I just watched the first episode of American Horror Story without actually knowing the theme of the newest season of the FX anthology horror series. I don’t even watched any promo trailer of the series so I don’t really have any idea what is the story of the new AHS. After watching the first episode, I found out that the new season is called “My Roanoke Nightmare” but I really don’t get what the new episode of the show will be going so I made some research.
But before that, in the first episode, I thought it will be some story revolving around found footage videos like the VHS movie and Blair Witch Project, then see some haunting in a secluded villa with husband and wife dealing with some ghost sightings. But later it changes to something much deeper than I expected that I need to watch the next episode for me to really understand where the story is going.
Meanwhile, here’s what I find about the new title, ROANOKE. Possibly the series will touch stories from the Roanoke Colony which is also known as the Lost Colony which was an English settlement established by Queen Elizabeth in North Carolina. The colonists disappeared during the Anglo-Spanish War, three years after the last shipment of supplies from England. Their disappearance gave rise to the nickname “The Lost Colony.” There has been no conclusive evidence as to what happened to the colonists. Source: Wikipedia.org
Upon reading these information, my enthusiasm level for the new AMERICAN HORROR STORY rises and I will surely don’t want to miss each episode. You, what do you think of the new season of this TV Series?
