Darren Julie, the celebrity auctioneer, said that about 100 images of Marilyn Monroe is going to be sold to the highest bidders later this month. The photos was said to have come from the estate of Allan “Whitey” Snyder, Monroe’s personal makeup artist for 15 years before she died. In fact, one of the photos show Snyder applying makeup to a lingerie-wearing Monroe on the set of Let’s Make Love in 1960.
Aside from the photos, letters, telegrams and a money clip from Monroe to Snyder will be also included among the items that are going to be auctioned. The auction will also include memorabilia from Frank Sinatra, James Dean, Charlie Chaplin and Sammy Davis, Jr.
